The MotoGrapher!!!!

Ever since i got the camera from my friend 'Kidan' I have been chasing nature.The entire album i'm posting now contains photos of various animals & insects in my neighborhood. From my experience i have learned that if you keep your eyes open there is lot more to see......the powerful 25X optical zoom is an added factor. I hope one day i will own one lovely lady like a Sony d-SLR alpha-100, its a nice piece...Bit expensive too..



Another thing i have to tell you is about my butterfly garden ..its a small group of flowering plants .naturally grown on a heap of rock pieces. Almost all butterfly pictures have been taken there ..its nice sunny area.Butterflies are very active during the sunny days.From tomorrow i'm trying my luck at small butterflies...its even harder to get their pictures...We have to catch them in order to photograph them!!![my butterfly garden below \/]


Th Tawny coster is a regular visitor , I know his habits ..he will rest on a flower for little more time ...so i will always get the time window to ready my camera!! He is smiling just for you !!!



This guy ... i can't identify!!!! his wing markings are designed such a way by god to keep the predators away..
a CATTLE ERGOT :Its a common sight for villager though !!!! The bird will eat the ticks & parasites on cattle.in turn it will get food .Pasuvinte kadiyum theerum ...Kokkinde vishappum marum !!!


This is a common skink [arana] !!! he is another reptile which will keep you engaged for hours if you try to photograph him!!!

The Great singer of bird family !!!! .. Gana kokilam , he is a regular visitor of kariveppu tree near my house..i can see him from my window!!!!



PS: Sad thing .....kidan has asked me to gave back his camera.....so no photo from now on..till i get another camera!!!

Today my uncle & family is here ..so cant watch HBO which is airing "You've got mail" just another nice movie..at the beginning of movie there is a dialogs by ryan:"I always dreamed of a small life,small but precious..I dont know whether i liked it or I'm not brave enough to go for a big life.." ..it has made me think for a while ..

what i actually want in my life??? ..I don't know ..what i wants.. !!!

During my school days i wanted to became a doctor ..Then Suddenly life puts me in among the best brains in engineering.. Now i'm one among them !! one of best brains ???? what an anomaly? ...I believe life always have something for you in the box doesn't matters whether you likes it or not..some people calls it with name 'fate ' but i like to call him'life' one of the best teachers one could ever have.
Haaa Athychiphobic ..I'm always afraid of my failures .even though dont do much to make me successful either. I always wander in persuit of happiness ..what could make me happy ..? Is it my parents? is it my girl..? or is it my friends ..Even in this thick abundance of friends i feel loneliness.. All i know is .I'm surviving among the crowd ................................................................................................................. Just suriving!!!

An atfernoon with Calotes..

After a hectic geography class at the civil service academy, i returned home...my mum was there at the gate
Mum:" come to the backyard you got to see this.."
without any word i parked our zen & rushed to the spot ...my mum & dad were looking into a bucket.Inside the bucket i saw this little beauty....Its was a green lizard[calotes-calotes].From the aggressive posture it gave i assumed it to be a male..but juvenile..[since its spines at the back of head is not fully grown]
Me: "How long she is here..?"
Dad :"maybe an hour or two.."
Me:"do you know what it is..?"
Dad:"pacha onthu ..allathe?"

Got some nice footages of a calotes calotes. i dont want to stress him any more so i let him go. Running away from the bucket , he rested upon our compound wall looking back with a thanks gesture for the water & small insects i gave..Any way i loved to see a creature which is not common in our city premises..

Body Description : Completely green with White strips on its body,very long tail white marks , with spines on back of its head[Further details will be published soon]
